A.C.O.R.N. Inc. is a Canadian, non-profit organization, formed in 2002. Our primary objective is to improve the lives of children living in orphanages in Kazakhstan. Our continuing goal is to help meet the children's immediate needs through donations of material items and financing various activities for the children to participate in. Our long term goals include working with the Kazakhstan community to help develop programs that will assist the children once they leave the orphanages, by providing them with the necessary tools to develop a brighter future. We are a small, grassroots organization, made up of individuals from different areas of the world who are all working together to try to make some of these ideas a reality. Thank You!!

NEWS!! July 31, 2007 Although this project has seemed to have ground to a halt over the past couple of years due to a variety of reasons, (volunteer's life's changing and having less time to commit, the ever changing rules and regulations for sending goods to Kaz, etc), we are getting close to getting the project up and running again! I can't say at this time what projects the new program will cover, but will be updating this page as I hear the news.
